HR Generalist – startup experience required

### Job Description

Mira is hiring an energetic and well-versed HR Generalist to support our globally distributed workforce.

In this role, you will be covering a variety of essential facets of HR and growing together with the company.

### What you will be doing:

– Full-cycle, high-volume recruitment activities;
– Take care of the internal staff: retention programs, creation of exciting career paths, overseeing performance reviews, running team buildings, etc., etc.;
– Keep us compliant: being up to date with the current employment practices and laws;
– Add to infrastructure and maintain it: there’s always a policy or an instruction to add!
– Work closely with the board of directors on complex strategic initiatives;
– Plan a budget and distribute payroll;
– Miscellaneous tasks: business and medical insurance enrollment, in-depth research of new opportunities for the business, etc.;
– Be awesome every day for your team;
– Manage the admin/hiring assistant team.

### We’re excited to know you if you:

– Have at least 3 years of hands-on HR-Generalist experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment;
– Used to wearing many hats and being proactive in your role;
– Are truly ready to roll your sleeves up and work on something that is not on your job description;
– Are highly autonomous and don’t need a book to follow to perform your routines;
– Know how to prioritize and comply with deadlines;
– Are familiar with performance metrics and are ready to follow them;
– Are ready for a challenge and rapid growth;
– Have experience working remotely for at least 1 year;
– Have a working knowledge of the US employment laws in different states;
– Created handbooks, policies, and procedures;
– Can do research and come up with solutions for the things that you never worked with;
– Are ready to learn something new every single day;
– Have high emotional intelligence and are genuinely interested in people;
– Ready to start ASAP.
