The Future of Health TrackingMira isn't just a fertility tracker. Mira is the next step in personal health tracking and analysis, created by a team of biological scientists and engineers.
Mira is the first comprehensive women’s health tracker
Recently, Mira launched test wands that measure actual Estrogen levels (Mira Fertility Plus). Together with LH test, these wands provide even more accurate knowledge into a woman’s fertility level and cycle, discover deep insights into the fertile window and ovulation confirmation, and discovering red flags such as hormone imbalances, irregular cycles, and PCOS early. Doctors are bringing Mira into natural family planning studies. Mira also plans to launch Progesterone, hCG, and FSH test wands soon.
Estrogen plays a key role in the development of female physical features and reproductive functions, including the growth of breasts and the uterus, and regulation of the menstrual cycle. The level of estrogen increases a few days before ovulation. Estrogen tracking allows detecting a full fertile window. It also helps diagnose menstrual problems, find out the cause of infertility (the inability to get pregnant) and monitor infertility treatments.
Progesterone is a top “pregnancy hormone”, because it gets a uterus ready so that it can receive, implant, and support a fertilized egg during pregnancy. After ovulation, progesterone levels go up for about 5 days before going back down if you are not pregnant. If you are pregnant, it keeps going higher. A progesterone test confirms ovulation and it helps to check the health of a pregnancy. It’s also important for someone who uses the fertility awareness method of birth control for confirming that ovulation happens.
During pregnancy, cells in the developing placenta make hCG. Levels of hCG continue to double every 48 to 72 hours. They reach their peak around 8 to 11 weeks after conception. The amount that hCG goes up early in pregnancy can give information about pregnancy and the health of a baby. It is often used to track early signs of miscarriage, baby development, and birth defects.
FSH is an important part of the reproductive system. It’s responsible for the growth of ovarian follicles (which house the ovary’s eggs) for ovulation. A high level of FSH is a signal that ovaries don’t have many eggs left. If high FSH levels occur alongside high LH levels, ovaries may have stopped working normally – and may indicate that there are very few eggs remaining and menopause is nearby. FSH test is helpful for menopause testing and fertility testing if a woman is not ovulating.
General Health Tracking
In future years, Mira plans to expand the system’s AI-powered analysis and testing capabilities. We believe our technology can provide users with critical knowledge about their bodies and health, including chronic disease, infectious disease, vitamin levels, influenza, allergen sensitivity, kidney health, thyroid hormones, gout, and general wellness monitoring.
