“Back in 2023, my husband and I started trying for a baby. By August we still hadn’t conceived and I wanted to get a better understanding of my hormones.
Irregular cycles
My main struggle was having such irregular cycles. Depending on the month, my cycles could range from 28 days all the way up to 45! With irregular cycles, it can often be very difficult to pinpoint ovulation, which of course can make it harder to conceive. Tracking apps will often assume you have a 28-day cycle and ovulate mid-way through and ovulation sticks aren’t always accurate, especially if your hormones are all out of whack.
Meeting Mira
I kept getting a lot of ads on my Pinterest about Mira and I watched a lot of videos and read a lot of the reviews. I really felt like Mira could not only help me conceive but could also help me understand my cycles and hormones better. There were so many reviews from people with PCOS or cycle irregularities that it gave me hope that Mira could work for me and I was right!

Pregnancy and Partner Support
We purchased Mira in August and in October, we found out that we were pregnant! We were over the moon and I definitely think that using Mira helped us get there.
One of the best things about Mira (apart from the fact it helped me get pregnant!) is that the Mira App is very user-friendly and easy to understand. I also loved the fact that my husband could have the app on his phone using the ‘Partner Log In’. He was a huge supporter of my trying a fertility tracker and I loved that he could have access to all the same information I had – it helped me even more supported by him and less like I was carrying the responsibility of tracking all on my shoulders.

Advice for others
Trying to conceive is so much harder than people realize. My advice would be just to keep trying – but I know that is easier said than done! If you need support don’t be afraid to reach out to friends and family, It can be scary telling them what you’re going through but having them to talk to can make all the difference.
